Relief For Sleep Paralysis

This article analyses sleep paralysis, the things that it is caused by and the available remedies and solutions. Take a few minutes to go through it and I’m sure you will find it to be both informative and helpful.

The one thing that I hate most about hallucinatory sleep paralysis is that at the time it occurs the visions and sensations I’m feeling are just too real. The inability to move in those moments usually puts me in a state of panic especially when I cannot even do something as simple as let out a scream.

The funny thing is that the paralysis sets in to prevent you from doing just that. You are producing actual physical reactions to something that’s just a dream. Imagine how chaotic it would be if we reacted to everything that went on whilst we are having our dreams. The reason this happens is because the transition from being fully asleep to being fully awake is meant to be a gradual process.

If your sleep happens to be disrupted whilst you are having a dream the paralysis sets in. Trust me I know; uncomfortable does not even come close to describing those few moments that you struggling to move or say something. That is one thing that I’ve come to notice about sleep paralysis, the sensations are just too real to ignore.

So is there anything that can be done about it? Of course there are many causes to this and the solutions are just as many too. The underlying theory though is avoiding anything that will disrupt your normal sleep. Things that send signals to the brain and require it to become active. Amongst some of the things that you can avoid are excessive light. Sound and going to sleep without emptying your bladder.

Just check out any one of the following and you should be able to sleep peacefully after that:

cure from sleep paralysis, sleep paralysis cause, sleep paralysis

Hallucinatory sleep paralysis is an acknowledged medical condition and therefore help is available for it. Do not be at the mercy of your dreams and continue having restless nights. You can do something about it.

Fun Ways To Improve Your Memory

There are three fun games that you can play daily that actually increase your brains ability. It turns out that simply using your mind in a challenging way is all it takes to strengthen your memory.

You have likely heard that doing crossword puzzles is a great way to improve your mental ability. Well, you have heard correctly. Basically, you simply need to engage your mind in some form of mental activity in order to properly exercise it. It’s important that you choose an exercise that you enjoy. For most people crossword puzzles are not only enjoyable but addictive. If you can get yourself addicted to having to do one of two crossword puzzles at day then you will be on easy street to improving the capacity of your mind.

Another effective strategy to improve your memory is learning a new language. Learning a new language really gives the brain a total workout. It is not important which language you learn. The key is to choose a language that you are interested in. You want to make sure that you will be able to maintain interest over the long term. Do not think that you have to actually develop the ability to speak fluently in the language, although that would be an added bonus. The result is not as important as the daily process of studying. Of course, you want to make enough progress so that you remain interested.

One of my favorite ways of giving my brain a challenging workout is a game of sudoku. Sudoku is a numbers game played on a grid. Sudoku puzzles come in beginner, intermediate, and advanced difficulty levels. Many people claim that sudoku is highly addictive. If you get bored of doing crossword puzzles or learning a new language, then start completing a sudoku puzzle everyday. Your brain will not know what hit it.

The principle is simple. Keep your brain active and it will remain active. You should know by now that it doesn’t matter what kind of puzzle or game you do or play, it’s merely the activity. Find something mentally challenging that you like to do and do it every day. You’ll see your mind becomes sharper and sharper.
